This is an authentic recipe a friend got from Hawaii - was used at a
restaurant - makes excellent Xmas gifts alot with recipe.
1 gallon soy sauce
4 lbs. brown sugar
2 whole garlics, crushed
4 lemons/limes juice
1/2 gallon of water
2 cuts olive oil
1/2 lb. ginger root, minced
2 bunches of green onions, chopped
1/2 bottle of dry sherry
or
1/2 cup whiskey
Mix all ingredients together.
MAY BE DIVIDED IN FOURTHS FOR HOME USE!
Cures faster if left at room temperature for (1) one week - then
refrigerate.
